FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Guests ordering at the München Haus beer garden bar
Head to the front service window to place your food order, including any non-alcoholic drinks. You'll receive a buzzer to notify you when the food is ready to pick up. Alcoholic beverages must be ordered separately at the beer garden inside our outdoor courtyard. Feel free to grab any open table, as seating is first-come, first-served. When your buzzer goes off, pick up your food at the grill and enjoy our self-serve condiment bar. When finished, please leave all dishes and waste on the table and our team can handle the cleanup.
Nearby parking options can be found here. On-site parking is not available.
We do not accept reservations for any size group. For large groups, please contact us at [email protected] prior to your visit to discuss arrangements such as an open tab and we'll provide any additional information you need.
We do not offer catering services, and we cannot accept large to-go orders in advance. All orders must be placed in person at our front ordering window.
Yes, we have accessible bathrooms and seating available on the ground floor. Some tables and benches are movable, while others are fixed. If you have specific needs, please email us at [email protected] prior to your visit so we can accommodate to the best of our ability.
To keep the line moving efficiently, a team member hands out menus, answers questions, and starts orders in advance during peak times. If the line reaches the top of our street seating area, the estimated wait is roughly 20 minutes. It goes faster than you think, just ask the team member out front for a current estimate!
Absolutely! All ages are welcome during all business hours. Grab an activity sheet and crayons from our condiment bar area to add a little extra fun to your experience. Highchairs can be found near the water station or provided by a team member upon request.
Yes! We love dogs and even offer several dog treat options available for purchase. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all, dogs must be kept on a leash, under control at all times, remain off the furniture, and avoid interacting with employees, in accordance with Washington Administrative Code 246-215-06570(4).
We've got you covered in all weather! Enjoy umbrellas and misters in the summer, plus cozy overhead heaters and a few fire tables to keep you warm when it's chilly. Don't worry, we've got squeegees and towels for those rainy days too. Just ask a team member for assistance if needed in any weather condition.
Bavarian bratwurst with condiments at München Haus
We offer various styles and sizes of sausages, a king size Bavarian pretzel, a German potato salad featuring a vinegar-based dressing, and a variety of self-serve condiments (includes sauerkraut and 14 mustards!). If you're looking for more traditional main courses, such as spaetzle and schnitzel, there are several table-service restaurants nearby serving these options. View our full menu for details.
Of course! Our vegan (V) and vegetarian (VG) options are labeled on the menu. Vegetarian sausages are cooked alongside meat products on the main grill. Vegan sausages are prepared on a dedicated grill to prevent exposure to non-vegan products. Pretzels are vegan; however, they are served with multiple dairy products unless requested as vegan while ordering. Our menu details (*Vegan upon request) clarify this special handling for preparation and service. Please notify us of any dietary specifics when ordering so we can accommodate any needs to the best of our ability.
We do our best to accommodate any allergen-related requests safely. Please inform an employee of any allergies when ordering so we can take appropriate precautions while handling and preparing your meal. For example, we can wrap sausages in foil to avoid cross-contamination on shared cooking surfaces, and gluten-free buns are available for purchase.

Our gluten-free options are labeled on the menu (GF), and we can provide a detailed ingredients list for your review when ordering. For sausages, gluten-free buns are available for purchase or sausages may be served without a bun.

For celiac disease, please notify us when ordering as we take several precautions to prevent cross-contamination. Team members start with a fresh pair of gloves and use separate tongs specifically for handling these gluten-free orders. Gluten-free sausages are individually wrapped in foil before being placed on the grill. Gluten-free buns are warmed individually; they cannot be toasted alongside other products.

Our Backyard Brat Mustard is the closest match. It features a bold, coarse texture with a nutty mustard seed bite, rich smoky layers, and a tangy finish from vinegar and beer, much like traditional German mustards.
During peak seasons of the year, it is not uncommon to sell over 1,000 sausages a day!
So many choices! Our friendly staff is always happy to help with questions about our condiments. Looking for inspiration? Check out our #ToppingsTuesdays reels on all our social platforms at @munchenhaus. You'll also find some tasty pairing suggestions, courtesy of our founder Pam, right on the large napkin dispensers at our self-serve condiment bar.
We offer unopened canned and bottled drinks to go, but please note that Washington State has open container laws. It is illegal to consume or carry an open alcoholic beverage in public spaces, such as streets or sidewalks. You're welcome to enjoy your drink here, but once you step outside, it must be unopened or left behind. In addition, we do not offer growler fills, and growlers cannot be opened for consumption on-site. Outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
Leave everything on the table! Our staff will gladly handle the cleanup. Once collected, the leftovers are separated into compostables, recyclables, and trash. We are happy to say that most of what's left over goes into the compost bin.
